Out of Box Modules
Oracle EPM Planning modules available out of the box are Financial, Workforce, Capex, Projects and Strategic Plan. NetSuite Planning and Budgeting modules available out of the box are Financial, Workforce and Capex.
Minimum User Licenses
Oracle EPM Planning requires the purchase of a minimum of 10 user licenses. If using EPM Enterprise the minimum user license requirement is 25. NetSuite Planning and Budgeting allows for the purchase of individual user licenses. However, if your company requires more than 20 users Oracle EPM is highly recommended.
License Costs
Oracle EPM Planning has a higher per user license cost than NetSuite Planning and Budgeting. However, as mentioned above if you are planning to have more than 20 users it is recommended to go with Oracle EPM Planning.
Implementation Timeframes
Oracle EPM Planning has a longer implementation timeframe than NetSuite Planning and Budgeting.
Prebuilt Saved Searches
Saved searches are a powerful tool to define important information, filter criteria, and retrieve real-time data. NetSuite Planning and Budgeting provides an array of pre-built saved searches. Oracle EPM Planning does not come with any pre-built saved searches.
NetSuite ERP Integration
If NetSuite ERP integration is a requirement. Both Oracle EPM Planning and NetSuite Planning and Budgeting all full integration to NetSuite ERP.
